What does Western Industrial Canvas make?

Heavy-duty, custom fabric covers, tarps, bags, safety curtains, protective gear and many other industrial-strength fabric solutions for businesses across North America.

Is it made in the U.S.A?

We design and manufacture all products in our shop in Sheridan, Wyoming. Whenever possible and practical, we source our materials from inside the U.S. There are a few materials we use that are not available in the U.S. currently, but we are always expanding and improving our sourcing and materials’ partnerships.

What materials do you work with?

We work quite a bit with vinyl, heavy-duty canvas, sunforger, cordura of various strengths and a number of other fantastic, sturdy, heat-resistant and specialized fabrics for a wide variety of jobs. We only use YKK zippers of various sizes, because they are the best and trust us, this is what you want and deserve on your project. Of course, we also work with a vast array of brass, stainless, and other metals in the form of grommets, fasteners, D-rings and more. We have a significant selection of strapping, webbing and other materials to get the job done in-house, and whenever necessary, we source special materials to meet custom needs.

Do you offer wholesale pricing for retailers?

Yes, we offer wholesale pricing on many of the items we manufacture. Please give us a call to discuss any time.

What’s your lead time?

Lead time varies, depending on the product, level of customization and order size. We strive to move quickly to meet all customer deadlines. We are also transparent and realistic about lead times on our custom products to ensure we meet expectations.

Who owns Western Industrial Canvas and where is it based?

Western Industrial Canvas is based in Sheridan, Wyoming and is a sister-brand to Sheridan Tent & Awning, which was founded in 1909. While we have always designed and manufactured industrial goods, we felt it was time to add a new brand name to our work so customers better understood our expertise and capabilities on the industrial, agricultural, construction and many other business segments on the B2B side.

Do you offer payment terms?

One-off custom orders require 50% down to begin the project, with the balance due on a net 30 basis.
Recurring customers in good standing can buy on account upon approval of their application.

What is the benefit of heavy equipment windshield protectors?

Our heavy equipment windshield protectors are a solution to a common problem for heavy agricultural and construction equipment: windshields broken during transport. Weather resistant and designed to stay in place at highway speeds, they can be installed and uninstalled by one person.
Western Industrial Canvas windshield protectors are designed for a custom fit on all major heavy agricultural and construction equipment brands. Most covers are designed to protect the windshield of your equipment, where most damage can occur. Side and back covers are available as well.
Our covers significantly reduce equipment downtime and cost less than the cost of cab glass replacement.

What size are the windshield protectors?

Size varies depending on the machine and the size of its cab glass.

Do you make windshield protectors for all heavy equipment brands? Which ones?

We make covers for all equipment brands and we have patterns for all major brands: Kubota, Cat, John Deere, list more here…. If you have a piece of equipment that we don’t yet have a pattern for, we provide easy to follow instructions on how to measure for a cover. Then, we fabricate your cover exactly to your specs.

What if I need a custom protection solution?

Give us a call! We create sturdy covers for most anything.

What is your lead time?

Most covers ship within 7 days of order. Custom orders, those we don’t have a pattern for or have additional custom elements, generally ship within 2 weeks. In a hurry? Let us know, we can accommodate rush orders, usually at no additional cost.

How long do your windshield protectors last?

Under normal conditions you can expect your cover to last 5 to 10 years.
